In Westland, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Michigan, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
Hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in Westland keep standard business hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on weekends and holidays. Westland is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Westland follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Friendly and helpful staff. We love going to the butterfly house and getting caterpillars to bring home. The staff provide info on how to care for your caterpillars and what their host plant is, etc. They sell all of the host plants for each caterpillar species. I bought swamp milkweed from here a few years ago and have had many monarchs since then! Good selection of native plants.

This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I got so much help today and a brochure of how to have butterflies and how to properly raise swallow tails. Cheryl was so helpful, I love that they have a whole sanctuary for the butterflies. They have so many cool things here, place is a hidden gem

I was able to release my painted lady’s here. I’m so pleased they allowed me to do that and give them the best chance possible for life. Make sure to ask ahead about releasing to ensure they’re able to accommodate you. Would definitely come back to support this business.

Much more than a plant store. Very helpful & friendly staff. They are cognizant of invasive plants and do not stock them. They have fun things for the family like a butterfly house and a large koi pond with huge fish that one can feed. Highly recommend.

This is my go to Nursery at the beginning of the planting season due to the wide variety of annuals, perennials, hanging baskets and exotic plants. The prices are very reasonable and would definitely recommend this place to friends and family! The nursery also carries house plants, potting soil, compost, wooden planters, plastic and ceramic. Garden decor and accessories. If you have a fairly garden you are in luck with the cute figurines. The butterfly house is absolutely beautiful with a little pond next to it.
